Quiche Flare

TYPOGRAPHY, PRINT

Overview

Quiche Flare is a typographic poster series exploring the expressive possibilities of Quiche Flare by Adam Ladd. Using a single typeface and a consistent color palette, I developed a collection of distinct compositions that explore hierarchy, movement, and visual rhythm. The series was later compiled into a booklet, bringing the individual posters together as a cohesive collection.

Challenge

Create a cohesive poster series using a single typeface and color palette while exploring a range of typographic systems.

Project Type: Academic Project

Design Approach

I explored different typographic systems by experimenting with scale, alignment, spacing, and composition. Working within the constraints of one typeface and a limited color palette challenged me to find new ways to create contrast and visual interest while maintaining consistency across the series.

Outcome

The project strengthened my understanding of typographic systems and showed me how much creative variety can emerge from a limited set of design elements. Compiling the posters into a booklet brought the series together as a cohesive body of work and reinforced the relationship between individual compositions and a unified visual system.
