Inspired by San Francisco's vibrant art scene and retro interiors, the café combines traditional matcha culture with interactive workshops, customizable drinks, and a playful, nostalgic atmosphere.

Design Process
I began by sketching different retro-inspired café logos, exploring ways to capture Matcha Made's playful personality. Wanting to challenge myself creatively, I decided to develop a mascot, something I hadn't tried before. I also established a pink and green color palette inspired by Strawberry Matcha. Through in-class critiques, the mascot concept emerged as the strongest direction and became the foundation for the identity.

Outcome
The final identity combines a playful cartoon mascot, flowing script typography, and a vibrant color palette to create a brand that feels nostalgic yet fresh. Inspired by 1920s rubber hose cartoons, the mascot gives Matcha Made a recognizable personality, while the overall visual direction reflects the café's creative, approachable atmosphere.
